Kat & Pete held their Manjimup wedding at the delightful Fonty’s Pool. They decided to do things a little differently than most. To make the most of the time with their guests they decided to have their bridal party photos before the wedding. It may be against the norm but it worked a treat. Kat and her bridesmaids prepared at Pete’s parents place. Lynette Nickell (make up artist) and Lorna Marie (hair stylist) made the trip from Dunsborough to add their special touches to all of the girls. It was an awesome morning, with non stop banter between everyone who was there, making my job very easy. The property has its own vineyard. Kat and Pete had organised to meet there before going off for wedding photos. Pete was waiting for Kat amongst the vines. As the stunning bride to be approached she lifted her dress to reveal huge pink and purple gum boots. Too funny!  The handsome couple then had a moment to themselves before their families joined them. The bridal party then jumped into 4 wheel drives and headed for Yeagarup Dunes. An amazing spot that gave us the opportunity to capture some amazing images. On the way back to Manjimup we stopped in at Diamond tree for a few more pics. The girls even managed to climb the first part of the tree, for the type of photo that you don’t see at most weddings. The bridal party then made their way to Manjimup’s famous Fonty’s Pool. Kat may have been climbing sand dunes and trees only an hour before, but she looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the isle. The guests were treated to a lovely wedding ceremony at the picturesque pool. Having already finished the bridal party photos, Kat and Pete were able to enjoy the company of their guests for the rest of the day. The reception rocked! Funny speeches, lots of food, wine & beer and a lot of people busting a move on the dance floor. This was an awesome Manjimup wedding![soliloquy id=”4645″]
